This year 2008, Career Systems, Inc. (CSI) celebrates 25 years of service to people and organizations in various industries. Career Systems Inc. was organized in 1981 as CAREER MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS (CAREERMAN) by Dr. Josefina O. Santamaria to respond to the needs of organizations to attract and retain high potential employees and continuously motivate them to contribute to organization s success. CAREERMAN later on offered programs on personal growth and development, team building, leadership, communication and human relations, and counseling based on the competencies of Dr. Santamaria and her pool of consultants. A new company CAREER SYSTEMS INC. was registered as a corporation at the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 25, 1983 with Mrs. Rose Marie B. Lazaro as chairman of the Board and Dr. Josefina O. Santamaria as President. In 1985, Mr. Jorge Santamaria, upon his retirement from Mead Johnson Phils. Inc. where he had been Vice President for Marketing and Director for Business Development, joined CSI as its Managing Director. He took full responsibility for the marketing operations of the company. CSI experienced rapid growth in its operations. Pharmaceutical companies with which Jorge had built a strong network started to use the District Managers Development Program (DMDP) which was co-designed by Jorge and Josie. The DMDP to this day continues to be CSI s “best seller" with 75% of pharmaceutical companies, here and in Indonesia, as satisfied clients. With a husband-and-wife team and a formidable array of consultants creating synergy, the number of clientele expanded locally and in the ASEAN region. Jorge and Josie conducted leadership and management development programs in Indonesia, Hongkong and Singapore. CSI expanded its core competencies into leadership and management development, corporate culture, team building, values in action, sales management, human relations and interpersonal skills, among others. CSI has a long list of clients, mostly from the corporate world, representing various industries: pharmaceutical, banking and finance, manufacturing, hotel and restaurant, computer, transportation, etc.
